Fathers day was good. It was just me, the Mr. and Tj (the kids were at thier dad's of course), and remebering, we had celebrated fathers day with the Mr and the kids on friday and saturday already. We started off by heading down to the Village Markets in Burliegh. Afterwards we had brunch at a little cafe in Burliegh, before doing some window shopping alomg James Street.
See his leg? Thats from decorating daddy's present... (he got a video camera, in case you were wondering).
Heres Tj walking with his daddy. He still is yet to start walking on his own, b ut so far has no interest in doing it by himself!
I dont know why but James street is one of my favourite places to widow shop. It's only a small little street in Burliegh, but it has so many cute little shops in it. I'll have to take some pics one day and share with you. It also reminds me of the early days with the Mr. You know, when your jut starting to fall in love....
We spent alot of time together in Burliegh during that time. It was our favourite place to meet. So it brings back good memories for me. Then we spent the rest of the day lazing about (i'm pretty sure that was his favourite part!)
Today we rode to school again. We've been riding most days now :) The kids LOVE riding, and so do I. I love watching them all ride in front of me. And i love watching TJ get all excited about all the things he finds along the way. He's figured out how to ring the bell on the bike now too!
Plus the obvious bonus for me is the excersise. I'm not a gym-junkie kinda gal, so at least i know that riding to scool and back give me 2 hours of excersise a day (one hour there and back, twicw a day). But it does get hot! I hope we can keep this up during the summer!
Also, been using this religously now. It's my new dinner planner. It's so i can pre-plan all my dinners and hopefully be a little more organised... and so far it's worked a treat! Hope you all had a great weekend too!
