Halloween is almost here! And this years all about the quick and easy Halloween decorations for me. So heres another simple DIY halloween tute that even the kids could do!
What you will need:
1. Carefully Tear your book page out of the book and then gently fold it in half, without pressing down on the fold (you want to avoid creating a fold line if possible). Grab your scissors and cut across from the top outer corner to the bottom fold line. When you open it it should make a triangle.
2. Get your foam letter stamps and paint them black, then stamp one letter the centre of each triangle until you have spelled 'trick or treat'.
3. Then get your circle foam stamp and paint orange. Stamp randomly onto each triangle around your letter. Don't be to precious about it as the messier it is the more it adds to the Halloween feel!
4. Now grab your ink pad and , being careful not to smudge your paint, ink the edges of each peice of bunting. (You could just wait until the paint drys, but i'm way too impatient for that!). Do this to every peice.
And for some more cute and spooky decor for the walls, i framed some pictures from previuos Halloweens in some cheap black frames (but you could just cut some out of cardboard and paint them black for an even cheaper option).
For some not-so-cute and definitely more spooky decor, i downloaded these headless pictures from here and framed some of those too!
So....only 4 more days till Halloween! I have one more easy DIY, using old Xrays. I should have it posted by Monday . So gather up any of those old Xrays you have lying around, and i'll see you again on Monday!
