Preheat the oven to 175* C (350*F/ Gas mark 4). Place 18 paper baking cases into muffin tins. Sieve the flour and baking powder and set aside. In a medium bowl, cream the sugar and butter. Add the egg yolks and beat well. Add the melted chocolate and vanilla, mixing well. Add the flour and milk , alternately, beating well with each addition. Beat the egg whites in a medium bowl until soft peaks form, and gently fold them into the batter.
Spoon the batter into the cases. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove tins from the oven and cool for 5 minutes. Then remove the cupcakes and cool on a rack. To make the icing, cream the butter in a medium bowl. Beat in the milk until smooth. Stir in the chocolate and vanilla. Beat in the icing sugar until thick and creamy. Spread over the cupcakes.
Now for the fun part... decorating!

So i didn't actually have any licorice (forgot to buy some) so i just drew it onto my cupcakes.
Badly drawn ,i might add! But you get the idea. Notice how i also digitally drew on my sprinkles ;)
Anyway...Now you can sit back and watch the kiddies enjoy your yummy treats (or you can just eat them yourself, i won't tell!)
Enjoy!
