I am a bad mum.

Thats all i could think today as i watched my boys freeze to death for around...oh, 5 hours. You see, Entoni had his soccer thingy today (the knock-outs) at 10am - 3 in the afternoon. When we got ready this morning, i had jumpers on everyone and was completely rugged up myself. And the i stepped outside. And it was warm. Very very warm. So i went back inside and changed into shorts and let the boys take their jumpers off. I even went and changed Entonis jumper to a lighter one and took the trackkie pants i had packed out of the bag. Now , if you live on the Gold Coast you will understand the weather here... you'd know that it never really gets very cold, and that a cold morning often turns out to be a hot afternoon...even in winter. Well, that was NOT the case today. In fact, it just got colder and windier. Very very windy, and it was that icy cold wind. Unfortunately we didnt realise that until we arrived at soccer (which is about 40 minutes away from home, so going back to get warmer clothes was not an option). And it was FREEZING!!!!!!!!! Painfully freezing. That kind of freezing where you are terribly uncomfortable all day. Luckily we did have a picnic blanket and a baby blanket in the back of the car, which didnt provide much warmth, but it was better than nothing. Luckily Tatiana escaped the ordeal as she spent the afternoon with Bec and Abby. Entoni was such a trooper, playing all day and barely complaining even though you could see how cold he was (he was running around with his arms in his shirt). He got pounded in the face with a soccer ball too, poor thing. Not surprisingly though he did get a bad cough afterwards. Yep, he'll be staying home from school tomorrow being very well taken care of by a very guilty feeling mummy.

Yes, i know , the pictures are quite decieving. It looks so nice and warm. Picture me and 2 boys hundles together on the one pull out chair trying to keep warm under a picnic and baby blanket. Kody only started running around after he had had 3 hot choccies in a row (sugar-fix) because it was all i had to offer him to help keep him warm!

Aside from that, it was a good day,lol.
