Hardy-Har-Har!

Well 'ello there matey! Today is Pirate Day at the Wright Household, which means that Tatiana and Entoni get to dress up as pirates for school today. They have know about today for about 3 weeks...and have been so excited about getting dressed up. Usually Monday mornings i struggle to get everyone out of bed and ready, but today they were up and dressed before i was even up! *sigh* if only we had more themed school days, lol.

And don't they just make the cutest pirates you've ever seen???

I'm not sure this face would have me shakin' in my sea-fairen' boots so much as it would just melt my heart.

Kids School Concert

The kids had there school convert last night. The theme was disco bling / camping. Yes....disco and camping gear...not an easy costume to come up with, but i think we did ok. I got Tatiana some cargo and glued diamontes to all the pockets (although you cant really tell in the picks) And i got Entoni a plain t-shirt and wrote on in with fabric glue and then covered it in glitter. I though they looked fantastic!

Our seats were the second row from the back.....so this was pretty much our view of the concert all night ...mmm.  We could see Tatiana, but Entoni was behind a girl twice his size so really all we could see was his arms moving around every once in awhile. That really sucked!

But they were awesome none the less. Tatiana really surprised me as she really got into it this year (previous years she would just stand there and cry, poor thing). In fact, she sang so loud she lost her voice! And poor Entoni got a bloody nose afterwards.

Afterwards i took the kids out for sushi and ice-cream to celebrate. It was such a good night. We all got home pretty late, which meant we all slept in a bit this morning, and were late for school, lol. But who cares...it was worth all the fun we had last night!
