The Delightful Insanity {Of My Life}

SeaWorld (backdated from the 12.1.08)

So, I am just trying to catch up on a few posts.... so thats what this (and others to come) backdating business is about, lol.

Last Friday we went to Seaworld together. Every year we try and take the kids to one of our theme parks for the summer break (there are 4 on the Gold Coast). We always make sure to do it while Zali is with us, but for awhile there, with all the bad weather, we though we might not get to go before her stay was over! As it turned out Saturday was sunny and beautiful, so off we went. I like Seawold the best of the 4 theme parks we have here because they have everything. Rides, animals, shows and waterslides. The kids all had a great time (as did us big kids ;)

We had lots of fun and got nice and wet (you cant tell from the pic, but we are drenched! lol)

OMG, it was so much fun watching them on this ride...their laughter had me in hysterics!

Unfortunately, the day went by all to fast and we missed getting to see any of the animals. If your from out of town and you ever come visit Seaworld, i really reccommend a 2 day pass. Especially in summer , so you can spend lots of time in the water (they have waterslides and pools), as well as seeing the animals and going on all the rides.

She's gone ....

Its always very hard saying goodbye after only 2 weeks. Tatiana has a really hard time saying goodbye as she just loves having her big sister around all the time. We all love having her around. And 2 weeks is just never enough. I have been a bit slack in blogging about her visit...which i really wanted to do so that i could look back on her visit later on and remember the things we did. In fact i hope to be much more diligent in upkeeping my personal blog on a somewhat daily basis, always, so that i can look back on it all years from now and remember the things we did...the everyday and the big things.

Zali is growing up so very quickly (she's 10 this year....hitting the double digits!) and she's almost even as tall as me (not hard to achieve, i know). It always amazes me at how much she's grown from the last time i've seen her. Anyway...i've got to get things ready for tomorrow. I'm off to Ikea tomorrow to exchange some shelves (and we all know what my trips to IKEA are like ;)...taking the kids with me, so wish me luck!

I'll leave you with some pics from today. Poor Tatiana's eyes were all red and puffy. She's been crying since last night because she doesn't want Zali to go :(

Rain Rain Go Away...

and dont come back till after the school holidays!!!!!

We are so OVER the rain here. It has literally been rainy or gloomy for all of school holidays, and we only have 2 weeks left!!! Where's the sun? I want some fun and frolicking down at the beach! And my kids are going insane. And yes, my house is STILL being painted! At the rate he's going, we'll be painting in March!

So , it's 4.59pm and i am still in my pajamas. Now that doesn't happen very often.

(heres a pic of me, no makeup, swollen eyes from lack of sleep, bed hair and all....ugh!)

We were supposed to be going to Seaworld...but it was raining (fancy that). So instead we baked. Me made bananna bread and mini lemon cupcakes. (Ignore the mess in the background....this is what my house will look like till the painting finished!)

Then we sat down for a game of Go Fish and some warm bannana Bread with ice-cream. Entoni kept cheating and saying "go Fish" when he actually had the card. Then when it came to his turn he would know where all the cards he wanted were and ask for them...not realising we'd clue on, lol!

That all ended at around 1pm, so after that i figured i may as well just stay in my jammies till this evening, before i head out to the movies...off to see "I am Ledgend" with Will Smith...whom i have decided i love. Looks, not so much, acting....love love. Adam has had the kids for the afternoon....so i have spent it cleaning, chatting on the phone, and mostly ( i admit) on the computer...adding some songs to my iTunes wish list.

Anyway...figure its time for that shower now so i better go!
