Ok, as promised heres some stuff to get you inspired for Xmas. They are both very easy ideas, because if your anything like me...right now SIMPLE is GOOD :)
Every years i save all our Christmas cards for the kids to cut up and play with the following year. But this year i took out a few of my faves and used them to make tags. Its really easy. All you need are some old cards...
a tag (for tracing)
scissors, a hole punch and some ribbon scraps.
- Take your tag template and place it over the portion of the card you want to use. (if theres writing on the other side, you can cover it with some cardstock)
- Outline around the tag with a pen or pencil and then cut out.
- Punch a hole at the top and tie some pretty ribbon through.
- You can even cut out words from your cards scraps and glue them on to the tags.
- And Presto! Simple but cute new recycled tags!
OK, heres another easy one for you.
Start with a Styrofoam ball (50cents from a craft store), glitter, liquid glue, an old sponge brush, and a small hook.
- Glue the hook into the top of your ball and let dry.
- Once dry, use the hook to hold the ball up while you paint the entire ball with glue.
- Sprinkle your glitter onto the ball making sure to cover the entire thing. Its a good idea to do this over a bowl so that you can reuse the glitter that does stick on.
- Gently place somewhere out if the reach of little hands and allow to dry completely.
Beautiful!
You can tie ribbon around the hook to decorate. I'll be hanging mone above the kitchen window with some other decorations i bought yesterday. I'll show you what it looks like when i am all done.
I'm doing a green silver and blue theme this year...
I also found some tags and a Christams card i made 2 years ago, lol!
Well thats it for me. Check out some of the craft stuff Bec's been up to over HERE. Cute stuff.

Just thought I'd let you know that your little tags inspired me to make some of my own yesterday. Yep, I was totally sidetracked all morning and made nine. I even posted one on my blog (with a link to yours). Thanks for the mojo!!!
