Busy busy creating....

and happy happy making things.

Lately i am getting very inspired by music. My CD player is broken (and has been for years now sadly) but i finally hooked up some speakers to my laptop and have started playing music through my itunes. Bec got me a itunes card and i had so much fun spending it all. i made some pretty cool playlists and liked them so much i ended up burning CD's for Robyn, mum, my sister, Bec and Adam...goodness knows who else!

I'm sure theres a way i could just copy my play list from itunes but i don't know how yet.

I went over to my sister-in-laws house the other day to help her get the nursery ready for her little baby girl thats due soon. Shes doing a butterfly theme through the room, so i started painting the lid of her toy box for her. It's not done yet, as i ran out of sealer, but this is what it looks like so far...

Shes picked out the name already, so lets just hope the nurse was right when she said it would be a girl, lol!

I also ended up decorating my '08 diary while i was on the phone to my sister the other night. It was really only a half-hearted attempt (i started out just fidling with stuff whilst talking...i actually didn't have any plans to decorate it) so i was surprised when it turned out to be quite good!

The ribbon around the journal (well both ribbons actually) is just gorgeous and i got it from Nicole at the Craft Queen. She has got some of the most beautiful ribbon over at her little shop.
