Ahhhh, yes, i achieved pretty much everything on my to-do list yesterday, i what i did not get done can wait. So i am happy. And it is 11.56pm by my clock ....so almost time to wish you all a Happy Easter!!!!
So i baked and baked today. I made an obscene amount of cupcakes.
I dyed my eggs....marbled them even!
I filled all the egg casings for the hunt tomorrow.
I filled the baskets (with a white choc bunny, a finger puppet, stickers, glittery and fun pencils and a book each)
I made the chocolate birds nests.
I packed everything ready to go (we are celebrating at my brothers house tomorrow)
I hid the Easter baskets for the kids to find in the morning, and i left a trail of fluff to help them find it.
Oh, and i taste tested the cupcakes.
And they taste goooooood.
Have a great day today and dont forget to over-indulge!!!!!! (it really is worth it ;)

Today is a very full day for me. Firstly , it's my mothers 60th bithday....
Happy Birthday Mum!
and secondly i am getting ready for Easter. This is whats on my list of things to do today (hopefully all achieveble as the kids are at thier dads today)
Hmmmm...wonder if i can get it all done before the afternoon. Wish me luck. Anyway, so on my voyage to achieve all these tasks today, i , of course, jumped on my computer (aka. time wasting machine) and found some more Easter goodies (aka. wasted time)....
like THIS tutorial on how to naturally dye your Easter Eggs.
Or This recipe for some yummy Easter cookies, which if i somehow amazingly finish my list above with time to spare, i will make these.
ThEses cute cute little chocolate Nests which are actually ON my list of things to do today.
But just in case you are way more organised than i am, have done everything you need to do already...heres a fun Easter game to play. Cadbury Creme Egg anyone?
In my effort to fins some Easter Inspiration for you (aka. wasteing time, procrastinating) I also found some treasure that i JUST MUST HAVE.
This canvas for my wall.....
Its from Papayalicious and i am completely in love with there stuff!
And i want some of these gorgeous journals, and a calandar too!
Then theres this stunning HeadBand that needs to be adorning my head sometime soon....
Well, i guess thats enough time wasting for me. I really better go attack my list of things to do if i want to get even close to achieving it all. So....what are YOU up to this weekend??? Whatever it is, hope you have fun!

So the other day Bec and i found this book with some cute easter ideas. My favourite was theses eggs that were painted with chalk board paint. How cute is that? Imagine as a place setting having an egg (with the chalk board paint) with each persons name on their egg in a little egg cup and a little bucket of rainbow chalk beside it, so that everyone can decorate thier own eggs. Great idea...especially for adults ;) I really want to do that, so i'll take some pics if i do.
I also saw THIS today....and are definitely going to make some for myself.....sooooooo CUTE!
Found these fun and colourful egg casings which i plan to use for the Easter egg hunt. I'm going to fill them up with lots of cute stuff. so not EVERY egg they get will be or have chocolate in them!
Today we will be making Easter Bonnets for the kids easter parade. This year i'm cheating and doing something a bit easy (will post pics when they're done).
Theses hats (below) were from last year....we got the pattern from Riot art store in Pac Fair. But i wouldn't recommend the hanging eggs. I though it was cute at the time, but they just kept blowing in the kids face! Drove them crazy during the parade, lol.
Theres a 3 year old under there somewhere!
And just for fun I thought i'd share with you my new Doona Cover. Isn't it fun? Kinda makes you want to go and create something, dont you think?

Ahhh, yes. Its almost easter! Usually i go crazy for this holiday, but this year i just haven't had the time. So our Easter craft is at a minimum :( Which is a shame as i had all these really cool ideas for Easter Brunch, but then when my brother offered to have it at his house, with all i have on my plate right now, i figured it was probably a blessing in disguise. Guess i can always go crazy next year though. But i have been doing a bit of internet surfing and found some cool Easter Ideas to get you all inspired.
Like this....on how to make masked designs on your eggs.
Or THESE cute beaded egg ornaments.
Or this really good tutorial on Marbalising Your Eggs
Here is a good place to go for some Egg decorating ideas
And i *love* this cute little fabric basket for the kids to make (theres a printable download and everything)
And then theres this printable activity sheet for the kids
Also ... Fiona Carter is doing some cool Easter Craft on her blog....which you can check out Here :)
Last year we made little felt dolls for each of the kids and enjoyed it so much we decided to make it a new Easter tradition. So this year we will be doing that again, which really means .... i better get stitching!
This year i'm not doing bunnys though. Thinking mabey birds for the girls and monsters for the boys?
So what Easter traditions do YOU have? Do you have any good Easter Craft idea you'd like to share?

OOps...its Saturady now, isnt it?
Remember when i ordered all those gorgeous books from Amazon? Well, sadly, i have only recieved one of them and am still waiting for all the others (its only been 2 months now!) 2 of the books got lost in the post, but luckily, Amazon is re-sending them to me. The other 3 aren't due till April. Have i mentioned that i am not a patient waiter. Not patient at all.
Yesterday was Club Z at the scrapyard, which was lots of fun, and i got to help a few ladies with their projects as well as getting started on one of my own layouts for a class i'm teaching online in Italy...but more about that later.
I am so in love with Etsy. I never ceases to amaze me how much i can find on that site! Anyway....heres some cool finds to get you through the weekend.
Like this gorgeous fabric from Blinky.
Or these ridiculously cute hats from Baby Rocks Mowhawks
Or these beautiful collaged prints from Tsk tsk
And last but not least.....there are these cute little paper sculptures by SanFran67
Have a good weekend !!!!

Come and join us again on Friday March 14th between 10.30 - 12.30am for another casual and fun scrap day. Last month we had a full house and i had lots of fun scrapping and socialising (ok, so i was sewing, not scrapping...but i did help quite a few ladies finish thier layouts....so does that count? LOL.)
All you need is YOU and whatever you feel like creating...unfinished layouts, a sewing project (ahem), whatever! Or just bring a photo to scrap and we'll start from there.
This is what i made last month. Its a wrist band for my sister for her Birthday. She'd put in her order with me so i knew exactly how she wanted it, but i dont think she actually thought i'd get it done, lol. I forgot to take a good pic before i gave it to her, but heres a pic from her Bday Dinner....
Shes probably going to kill me for that pic ;)
Anyway..if you feel like joining us on Friday call Sandra or one of the lovely girls from the ScrapYard on ph. 55205598.
Hope to see you there!

and so freakin' cute!
Janelle Wind whipped up this amazing bag for my dear friend Bec for Xmas (it was my Chissy Pressie for her). She emailed me the pics yesterday and i was just blown away. It's gorgeous! Gorgeous enough to accidentally give Janelle my addy to post it to instead of Becs (hee hee....just kidding Bec).
We were super lucky to have one made by Janelle herself as shes amazingly busy with her new business atm. However, if you'd be interested in purchasing the pattern to make one of your own, you can find what you need HERE. Just have a look in the left hand side-bar for reatilers that stock her patterns.
Thanks again so much Janelle!

which is my excuse for not posting. Thats it. Thats all i got.
However, i do also have for your some cute ETSY finds for the week.
Like this postcard, which i know a few people i could send one too....(ok, so this ones not cute, but it is funny)
from rarrar press. She does postacrd and posters and stuff. Worth a look.
Then there's this poster that i've ordered and very (impatiently) waiting for so i can hang it up in my lounge room.
You can get them HERE and she does them in lots of different colours
Then theres these cute notebooks done by karla...a gorgeous scrapper as well, i must add. I think shes even got a newsletter you can join to recieve info about her stuff. Be sure to check out her blog as well (the link is in her shop, i think).
And being the fairy lover that i am...i saved the best 2 for last.
These are the cutest little clay figurines from a shop called the Butterfly People. I could imagine bying lots of them and placing them in random places all over my house.
Or even having one sitting right beside this....
This i love love love! Its from a shop called OnceUponATime Design and they create fairy doors that you can place almost anywhere in your home. They are magic doors in which fairy can enter your home through. Have you ever seen anything so damn cute?
Well thats all for me for now. Unless you feel like baking. Check out my other blog for a yummy choc chip recipe.
