I am a big fan of Photojojo and love getting their regular newsletter. Recently, they had a tutorial on how to make this quirky little bookmark, which is just too cute not to share with all of you!

Looks like a little persons trying to get out of your story, hee hee. Becareful, you never know what you might let out of your book once you make your bookmark ;)

Last night while playing on my puter i stumbled across my perfect dinner set. Well , it's not really one set... i want to get at least 3 different sets and then mix and match them all. They are gorgeous! And all from a company called Rosanna. How have i not heard of them before now???

I have always wanted to get a beautiful dinner set made up of different patterns and lost of bright colours, and these plates are just gorgeous. And they have so many more cute designs as well. I'm kinda very un-knowledgealbe in the whole crockery department so if anyone has any other sites, designers of dinner sets...etc, that i could check out, please let me know. Especially if they sell here in Australia :)

monday is here again

and this morning i had a dream so real that i thought it was real....even after i woke up. I though what i had dreamt happened yesterday. It took me until this afteroon to realise that it had all been just a dream! Am i losing it already??? lol.

So i thought i'd try and wake you all up from the weekend with a cute little tutorial i found HERE for these sweet little owls. She made them for Xmas, but really, i think they'd be gorgeous any time of they year. Would love to do one for my kids room :)

So its Monday today.
My Modern Jive class is tonight.
I still have to force myself to attend each class. I'm having fun and hating it all at the same time, lol. It's just that it's all still new to me and i feel a bit awkward. Plus i did this on my own , so i have no one there to giggle with when i make a silly mistake, no security blanket in the form of a friend. But that was my challenge...to do something i though i couldn't do, like dancing, without needing someone to come with me. But really, it is loads of fun. And great excercise. Plus they moved the venue to Coolangatta, which is heaps better for me. But they have classes in all areas of the coast, plus Brissie as well, if anyone local is interested. And no, you dont need a partner :)

Some Friday Etsy Lovin...

It's been a gloomy and cold day here today, so i figured, what better way to cheer up a day than with a hot cup of coffee and a Krispy Kreme donught for breakkie  :) Mmmmmmmm. And mabey some pics from another cute Etsy store i *love* called Lou and Lee. If only i had a cute little baby girl to dress her up in theses...

I have had a couple of emails about my online classes as well. Yes, i know i have been promising them for awhile. Unfortunatley, stuff happened, and my attention has been taken away from scrapping , blogging and teaching for much longer than anticipated. But it was necessary. But the classes are coming and the blogging will continue, at a more regular pace very soon. So please, just be patient with me.

So i was scrapjacked...

earlier this month. I've just been a bit slow posting about it, although it was pretty cool to see everyones layouts for the challenge. You can check it out HERE.

Apparently everyone had to guess who my layout was by, and i was surprised to see Ali's name come up a few times. I love her work, but i just never thought we had the same style. Then i had a closer look at the pic in my layout and realized it was probably because in that pic you could see similarities between her hubby and mine. And there's a new baby....and she's just had one. Am i right? hee hee.

Beautiful Movies

Just for fun, i thought i'd share with you some of my favourite movies. I've been having little videos nights with myself here and there, just me, one of my fave vids and some baskin robbins ice-cream if i'm lucky.

This movie is just beautiful. Its like a modern day fairytale.

Big Fish... a really fun and lighthearted flick full of imagination.

William Shakspears Romeo and Juliet. If you haven't seen this movie yet, you must! It is so beautifully done, so full of colour and inspiration. Its a musical, but i loved the way Baz took a classic love story and modernised it. Truly magical.

And speaking of beautiful love stories, this has to be one of my all time favourites. Actually, come to think of it i have a few faves in this category, but i'll save the others for another post. This one , however, is an oldie but a very goodie.
