It's been a crazy week of packing, sorting, fixing and cleaning...but we finally did it! Thanks to the help of my mum, dad and most of all my step-mum (who cleaned like a crazy woman for 3 days straight, brought food, brought coffee, and if that wasnt enough...she took my laundry home with her and brought it back all done!) Yes, i do know how lucky i am :)
OUr house is now ready to be sold. It is so freakin clean... really, i didnt even know it could look like this! But in saying that, i'm also in crazy mode now, following around every house member yelling "don't touch the walls!" "take your shoes off!" Dont use that soap!" Dont use those towels...they're for the open house!" "don't sit there, don't go in there, DONT take that out!" With 3 open house a week for 1 month, and 4 young kids...well, lets just say i'm gonna be a bit crazy for the next month. But it'll be worth it if we can sell our house.
Mind you, clean as it is... i already miss the clutter. We did all the right things when your trying to sell a house. We decluttered, taking most of our stuff to storage. We got rid of all the bookshelves, one couch, any extra furniture, and most of our personal bits and pieces. The house does look great for prospective byers, but i miss all the things that made t feel like a home. When we get the pics, i'll post a link if anyone wants to see. And Bec, you'd be AMAZED at the study! It's sad really that it took selling the house to finally get it done!

So i ordered some cute prints for the house from this clever girl.I had hoped that i would have them in time for our open house. There not here yet, but i can't wait to get them!
Found this camera that i want to add to my Xmas list...

And i LOVE these gorgeous cookie cutters! The Xmas ones are a great idea :)
Have a Happy Tuesday!
Haha! I remember the time when I sold my first house. I went nuts trying to make our house look impeccable and perfect – well, as perfect as it can get. I feel for you. I can relate to what you are feeling. I hope it went well..=)

I’m glad that you were able to sell your old house and found a new one. I’m pretty sure you did not find any difficulty selling this stunning house. By the way, can you please post some pictures of your new home? I’ m just curious as to how it looks.

The new owner of that house is lucky. They finally have a place that they can call home, which exudes of love because of its design and look. It’s been 2 years since you decided to sell it, I wonder what the house looks like now. I hope the buyer has taken good care of everything and maintained its beauty.

You did the right thing in cleaning the entire house thoroughly. A tidy and spotless house is what most buyers want. So how are you now with your new home? Care to share some thoughts about it? Hey, that camera set is cool! I wish to see something like it in the nearest mall from here. = )
