Goodmorning 36!

This is what I woke up to this morning :) Right now I'm posting from my iPhone as I sit in my car waiting for Baby Bootcamp to begin ( a bday pressie from my step mum, who often listens to me bitch about wanting to wear a bikini again one day).

We've moved into holiday accomodation today, till we can secure our new home. There is no Internet, so that will be tough. It's been a crazy month and I might try and blog about it later for memories sake. Gotta go boot camp my arse away now! Xx

Early morning walk on the beach..

This morning was beautiful. I got up early and walked along the beach, got a morning coffee and walked back. I love the gloomy weather... And the ocean looks amazing.

Bit of fish eye fun :)

So a friend of mine got a fish-eye attachment the other day, that you can just stick straight onto ur iPhone to get pics with a fish-eye effect. He let me take it home and have a play with it for a couple of days..... And play we did!

So ive made a fairly slow return to blogging....i know, haha. Life has just been sooo busy, but all in a good way. But today i write because i need your help! 

I have re-done my kitchen over the school holidays, it was a gift from my dad, the new kitchen :) This is what it used to look like....

 

See my oven on bricks? Nice look isnt it? And notice the very little amount of counter space i have there :(

And Noooo.... my kitchen is not normally this messy! I was in the process of packing it all up!

So now its almost all done....except fot the tiling. I had this idea of wanting to decorate some of my owns tiles. The tiles are all white, and on some of them the kids are each going to paint a little artwork. But on the others i was thinking of mabey hand-writing some cooking/food/eating inspired quotes. Or mabey even doing my own little design. I just cant figure out what to do, so this is where i plead to you for your help! I need ideas! Pictures, cool little quotes, suggestions, ideas, designs....anything. I'm thinking either quotes or a fun colourful pattern, but i'm open to any ideas u may have. So please....if you can, send me a link, some quotes....whatever u've got! And i'll post pics of the new kitchen when it's all done. Thanks!!!!

art and short films....good stuff

Swell was on again this month...so i went with some friends to check out the artworks. I grabbed a yummy blended Iced coffee from the Elephant Rock Cafe to keep me hydrated for the walk ;) and headed down with my peeps to check out the art...

Then afterwards we headed to In The Bin short film festival to catch up with more friends and watch some geat short films in the park. We had bean-bags, food, coffee, alcohol, glowsticks and even sparklers! LOL. It was a really good night.

HI :)

ok....so i've been gone for awhile. A LONG while, i know. Had some stuff to sort out. Got divorced, fell apart for awhile, got it back together (baby steps, people, lots and lots of baby steps) and now i'm back. Not quite back as in will be posting every day back, but back none the less. And ready to try and get back to blogging. Mabey even try and get a bit creative again (i miss making stuff). I make no promises here though, lol. I've got my hands full just trying to juggle kids, work and life in general. So please be kind to me when i disappear again from time to time ;)

I've missed blogging though. Missed keeping in touch with people through our blogs. Missed being creative. Missed that feeling of community. I havent been on anyones blog in almost a year! I only seem to get online for bills and boring stuff lately. So whats been happeneing out there in cyber land? I wonder.

...of stale bread. Thats what we were armed with today when we took the kids after school to feed the ducks.
